For celebrated Bangladeshi actor Zahid Hasan, turning 60 is less about looking back at the passage of time and more about looking ahead.
The popular actor celebrated his 60th birthday on October 4, marking another milestone in a career spanning decades across television and cinema. Since rising to prominence in the 1990s, Zahid has remained a familiar and beloved presence on screen, winning audiences with performances that have resonated across generations.
Despite reaching a significant milestone, the actor says his passion for acting remains unchanged. His priority, he says, is to continue working while maintaining the quality that has defined his career.
“I want to keep acting as long as I can breathe. I want to maintain the quality of my work. The quality of the work is what matters most,” Zahid said.
Zahid earned his first National Film Award for his performance in “Srabon Megher Din”, and later received the prestigious award two more times. He also won widespread appreciation for his role in “Utshob,” further strengthening his connection with audiences from different walks of life.
As he enters his 60th year, Zahid Hasan appears determined to keep doing what he loves most—acting, while continuing to uphold the standard of his work.
